i failed, last night i gave in to both ice cream and snacking. but today is a new day and i’m off to the rec soon. NEW GOAL: keep busy, so i don’t have time to snack between meals. I was and still am super upset with myself because now i’m four steps back. I am starting back up again today, and hopefully won’t give in, again. need to remember process not product, four weeks. i have to give myself four weeks before i will even begin to notice a difference. 

dorm food

This dorm food is killing me. ice cream and desserts at every meal? definitely something that needs to be avoided. also at every meal is a salad bar, that’s where i need to go. Hard but trying to limit carbs, and lean more towards proteins and veggies. the constant battle not to snack still continues…

It takes 4 weeks for you to notice your body changing, 8 weeks for your friends to notice, and 12 weeks for the rest of the world to notice. Give it 12 weeks. Don’t quit!
Nothing worth it is easy. strive for progress not perfection. work for the compliments, the jaws dropping, and the questions how you did it. do it to make his knees weak, to make you proud or to love what you see in the mirror. whatever your reason to do it, don’t stop. you can do this.

the beginning

Obviously everyone has heard and been made aware of the freshmen fifteen. I have been at college for a little over a week, and my weight gain as already begun. So I have decided to use this blog to help my self do just the opposite during my first semester in college. I want to lose fifteen instead of gaining it. so today, august 25 2012, I am starting. I will lose the weight, and use this blog to track and keep myself accountable.
